We have two orchestra seats for the sold-out Denver production of Hamilton at the Buell Theater on Saturday, March 17th at 7 pm, and we will be giving them away to one lucky member of Tilt West. They could be yours!
We’re kicking off our 2018 fundraising drive with this special sweepstakes to run through Friday, March 9th. This year, we plan to build on our roundtable programming by launching a digital publication, but—to make that happen—we really need your support.
When you make a contribution through PayPal to Tilt West of $30 or more, you will be automatically entered for a chance to win the Hamilton tickets. If you have been thinking about donating to Tilt West, now is the time.
If you are an existing Contributing Member ($30-$99) or Sustaining Member ($100+), you have already been entered into the sweepstakes. We’d love for you to consider making an additional contribution or renewing your annual membership today.
On Saturday, March 10th, we will draw the name of the lucky winner, and that person and a guest will be headed to Hamilton on the 17th!
Why should you support Tilt West?
Our mission is to promote critical discourse focused on arts and culture through live events and publishing efforts. We aim to provide a platform for inclusive community discussion and debate. Since our inception in November, 2016, we have hosted ten roundtable discussions on topics relevant to our creative community, such as Art & Activism; Technology & the Body; and Curators, Collectors, and the Shaping of Art History. Upcoming topics include Art in Time: Permanence, Ephemerality, & Preservation; and Censorship & Permission.
How are your donation dollars put to work?
All of the prompters for our roundtables are now paid a stipend for their contribution. We also commission one participant from each roundtable to write a think piece on the topic for our Medium channel. You can check out the audio recordings from our past events on SoundCloud and read the essays we’ve posted on Medium. Most importantly, the funds we raise in the coming months will allow us to launch our publication— paying writers, artists, and editors for their work.
